Rapé Artemisa is prepared by hand with rustic Amazonian tobacco and Artemisa.
At Ancestrina, we associate it with intuition and inner perception: quieting the noise, paying attention to what we feel before we can explain it and recovering trust in our own capacity to perceive.
Artemisa invites us to listen more closely to what is happening within us.

What makes Rapé Artemisa distinct
Not everything we know first appears as a clear idea.
Sometimes we feel something before we can put it into words: a discomfort, a direction, a sense that something fits or no longer does.
For us, Artemisa opens the territory of intuition.
What am I perceiving but have not yet listened to? What appears when I stop immediately seeking an explanation? Can I also trust what I know through experience, rather than only through thought?
Composition
- Base: Rustic Amazonian tobacco
- Ingredient accompanying the tobacco: Artemisa
- Origin: Brazil
How we understand it
At Ancestrina, we associate Artemisa with the ability to turn our attention inward and listen with greater sensitivity.
For us, intuition does not mean always being right. It is a form of perception that may appear as a bodily sensation, an image, an impression, a dream, a momentary certainty or simply a direction we cannot yet explain.
Artemisa invites us to approach that inner language with curiosity and attention.
In our energetic reading, we associate it with the sixth chakra, the symbolic territory of the third eye, which for us relates to intuition, perception and the capacity to look beyond what is immediately apparent.
Artemisa reminds us that we can also learn to listen to what appears before it becomes words.
Origin and Production
Ancestrina’s rapés are made directly by elders of the Marubo, Munduruku, and Yanomami tribes in Brazil, with whom we maintain a direct relationship.
These preparations are made for Ancestrina based on each community’s traditional knowledge. When a variety contains tobacco, the tobacco used is rustic Amazonian tobacco grown by the communities themselves.
Each rapé retains its ingredients, but it does not follow an industrial formula with identical proportions. The quantities may vary from one batch to another depending on the knowledge and intuition of the Mayor who prepares it.
