What makes Rapé Samsara distinct

Not every answer appears when we think harder. Sometimes we circle a question for hours: analyzing, comparing, projecting and trying to find certainty. The more we search, the more noise appears.

For us, Samsara opens another territory: listening, remaining with a question for a moment without rushing to answer it, and allowing intuitions, images, sensations or understandings that do not necessarily arise from a rational sequence.

What appears when I stop seeking an immediate answer? What am I perceiving before I explain it? Can I listen to my intuition without automatically turning it into an absolute truth?

How we understand it

At Ancestrina, we associate Samsara with intuition and channeling.

When we speak of channeling, we mean staying receptive to information, images, sensations, associations or understandings that appear in our experience and do not always feel like a direct result of deliberate thought.

We do not need to settle in advance where that information comes from in order to observe it. We can listen to it, feel what it stirs, let it rest and then decide what it means to us.

In our energetic reading, we associate Samsara with the sixth and seventh chakras. For us, the sixth represents intuition, perception and the capacity to look beyond the mind’s immediate interpretation. The seventh represents spiritual openness, transcendence and connection with a broader dimension of experience.

Samsara brings those territories together: perceiving and opening, listening and making room, receiving without turning every perception into certainty.

Historically, we have associated it with the gift of channeling answers. We keep that identity today, understanding channeling as a form of deep listening and spiritual receptivity.

Origin and Production

Ancestrina’s rapés are made directly by elders of the Marubo, Munduruku, and Yanomami tribes in Brazil, with whom we maintain a direct relationship.

These preparations are made for Ancestrina based on each community’s traditional knowledge. When a variety contains tobacco, the tobacco used is rustic Amazonian tobacco grown by the communities themselves.

Each rapé retains its ingredients, but it does not follow an industrial formula with identical proportions. The quantities may vary from one batch to another depending on the knowledge and intuition of the Mayor who prepares it.
