How we understand it

At Ancestrina, we associate Pixuri with energetic frequency and how we orient what we nourish in our experience.

When we speak of frequency, we mean the energetic and emotional quality from which we feel we are living a moment. In some states we feel open, present and vital; in others we feel heaviness, exhaustion or disconnection.

Pixuri invites us to pay attention to what feeds our experience: the spaces we inhabit, conversations we have, people we spend time with, thoughts we repeat and activities to which we give our energy.

Within our reading, raising frequency means cultivating states we relate to love, joy, gratitude, compassion and presence.

Origin and Production

Ancestrina’s rapés are made directly by elders of the Marubo, Munduruku, and Yanomami tribes in Brazil, with whom we maintain a direct relationship.

These preparations are made for Ancestrina based on each community’s traditional knowledge. When a variety contains tobacco, the tobacco used is rustic Amazonian tobacco grown by the communities themselves.

Each rapé retains its ingredients, but it does not follow an industrial formula with identical proportions. The quantities may vary from one batch to another depending on the knowledge and intuition of the Mayor who prepares it.
