Rapé Breu Branco

Price range: $100,000 through $160,000

Rapé Breu Branco is prepared by hand with rustic Amazonian tobacco and Breu Branco.

At Ancestrina, we associate it with emotional burdens that still feel as though they occupy space within us long after an experience has ended.

Breu Branco invites us to approach those memories with greater presence, recognize what still weighs on us and gradually recover a place of greater inner balance.

What makes Rapé Breu Branco distinct

Some experiences pass. Others continue to live within us.

They may appear as an emotion that returns, a reaction that seems out of proportion to something small, a tension we cannot easily explain or a story we feel we have not yet found a place for.

For us, Breu Branco belongs to that territory: recognizing that something still weighs on us without forcing ourselves to resolve it immediately.

What experience am I still carrying? What emotion returns again and again? What part of my story still needs to find another place within me?

How we understand it

At Ancestrina, we associate Breu Branco with deep emotional burdens and recovering balance.

Sometimes an experience leaves a significant mark. It may have happened recently or many years ago. The difficulty is not always in remembering what happened. Sometimes it is recognizing how much space it still occupies today.

Breu Branco invites us to approach those memories with presence and recognize how they continue to live within us: what emotions they stir, what responses they maintain and what parts of our lives they still organize.

In our reading, recovering balance means relating differently to what we feel, allowing an important experience to remain part of our story without occupying all of it.

That is how we distinguish Breu Branco from other emotional varieties. Copaiba approaches the shadow and what we reject in ourselves. Envira Ferro concerns forgiveness and burdens we hold in relation to a story or person. Mulungu approaches deep sadness.

Breu Branco occupies the territory of memories and emotional burdens that still feel active and need to find a different way to remain within us.

We do not associate it with a specific chakra. For us, its reading crosses them: emotional memory, burden and balance.

Origin and Production

Ancestrina’s rapés are made directly by elders of the Marubo, Munduruku, and Yanomami tribes in Brazil, with whom we maintain a direct relationship.

These preparations are made for Ancestrina based on each community’s traditional knowledge. When a variety contains tobacco, the tobacco used is rustic Amazonian tobacco grown by the communities themselves.

Each rapé retains its ingredients, but it does not follow an industrial formula with identical proportions. The quantities may vary from one batch to another depending on the knowledge and intuition of the Mayor who prepares it.
