require both partners. You can ask, propose, support, review what you do, and make your own decisions. They are different processes.<\/p><a class=\"anc-disabled\" style=\"cursor:pointer\" href=\"https:\/\/ancestrina.com\/en\/what-if-my-partner-wont-go-to-couples-therapy\/\">Read article \u2192<\/a><\/div><\/li>\n      <li class=\"anc-entry\"><p class=\"anc-sit\"><span class=\"anc-num\">02<\/span>I feel that I am the only one trying to hold the relationship together<\/p><div class=\"anc-entry-body\"><h3>I am the only one trying to save the relationship: what can I do?<\/h3><p>Doing more does not by itself show that you are doing \u201ctoo much.\u201d The question arises when one person must initiate, organize, and sustain work that also requires the other partner\u2019s participation.<\/p><a class=\"anc-disabled\" style=\"cursor:pointer\" href=\"https:\/\/ancestrina.com\/en\/only-one-trying-to-save-the-relationship\/\">Read article \u2192<\/a><\/div><\/li>\n      <li class=\"anc-entry\"><p class=\"anc-sit\"><span class=\"anc-num\">03<\/span>I have asked for change many times and it does not happen<\/p><div class=\"anc-entry-body\"><h3>My partner does not change: what can I do after asking many times?<\/h3><p>Asking for something does not create change or turn every preference into an obligation. Recognizing that limit does not erase agreements, existing responsibilities, or your ability to decide what you will do when the response remains the same.<\/p><a class=\"anc-disabled\" style=\"cursor:pointer\" href=\"https:\/\/ancestrina.com\/en\/my-partner-doesnt-change-after-asking-many-times\/\">Read article \u2192<\/a><\/div><\/li>\n      <li class=\"anc-entry\"><p class=\"anc-sit\"><span class=\"anc-num\">04<\/span>I do not know what is mine to do<\/p><div class=\"anc-entry-body\"><h3>What is Your Part in a relationship?<\/h3><p>Your Part distinguishes what you do, ask for, sustain, and decide from what belongs to the other person and what can only be built together. Responsibility does not mean controlling everything or carrying someone else\u2019s part.<\/p><a class=\"anc-disabled\" style=\"cursor:pointer\" href=\"https:\/\/ancestrina.com\/en\/what-is-your-part-in-a-relationship\/\">Read article \u2192<\/a><\/div><\/li>\n      <li class=\"anc-entry\"><p class=\"anc-sit\"><span class=\"anc-num\">05<\/span>I want to support my partner without living their life for them<\/p><div class=\"anc-entry-body\"><h3>Supporting is not carrying: how to help your partner without living for them<\/h3><p>Caring may require great effort. Carrying begins somewhere else: when you start replacing decisions or processes that you cannot live for the other person.
