What is insomnia?

Many of the reasons why a person may be suffering from insomnia is due to frustrations of their inner being. These problems are attributed to a person’s own spiritual meaning and purpose. The most annoying or seemingly meaningless events in our lives can be there to teach us something quite valuable.

There is always the annoying co-worker who is there to teach us patience, or the nosy neighbor who ends up teaching us how to set healthy boundaries, everything can be understood from a universal point of view. There is always a lesson in every event in our lives.

The same goes for insomnia, and this also has its spiritual meaning in our lives.

Being unable to sleep may mean that your guides are trying to deliver an obvious symbol to you. You are ready to wake up. This is the perfect time for you to start. Once you start balancing those chakras, you’ll sleep much better afterwards. For the person who is already firmly on the path spiritually, what is it that you would like to learn or expand?

Insomnia is a sign of being stuck, where you have mastered and understood what you have been previously learning, and now it is time to start the next chapter. Maybe you have to go deeper into healing, or maybe you have to meet your own power animals. Once you expand that energy once more, you will find that your insomnia is no longer a problem.

Is the insomnia caused by arguments you’ve had in the past, things you said or did, or is it worries about the future? Whatever it is, the solution is the same. How do these memories make you feel and where in your body do you feel them? Identify the emotions that those memories cause to arise within you, and try to get rid of them. These memories prevent you from moving forward on your path.
